We receive great news from Novak Djokovic’s camp as the world no.1 and his lovely wife Jelena tested negative to Coronavirus.
Novak has been at the centre of a huge controversy after his Adria Tour went sideways. The Serbian sensation had all the best intentions to create an event in the Balkans, but the complete absence of social distance created a huge setback. Unfortunately, some players and members of the team tested positive and the tour had to be canceled.
Eventually, Novak and Jelena also resulted infected even if apparently they were asymptomatic. His media team released the following statement:
“Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena are negative for COVID-19. That was shown by the results of the PCR tests that both had in Belgrade.”
Novak will be back to training getting ready for when tennis will resume. It’s not clear if he will participate in the American swing as he wasn’t very happy with the measures that will be imposed by the US Open.
