Eugenie Bouchard had a rather good time in Charleston on the occasion of the Credit One Bank Invitational. Genie played for team Peace that eventually won the exhibition. The event was a great display on how to stage a tennis event observing social distancing and having fun.
During the on court celebration that followed the event, Genie was expected to open a champagne bottle. Curiously, she failed with that!

Now the world no.328, the Canadian played her last match on the 27th of January when she lost to Alexa Glatch 6-1 6-2 in the 1st round of the Oracle Challenger Series Newport Beach.
