PR SUICIDE. Zverev caught partying with girlfriend after committing to self-isolation

Sascha didn't impress after he was caught breaking his promise about self-isolating

Zverev and girlfriend Brenda Patea

Alexander Zverev is an extremely successful 23-year-old. The German is one of the best tennis players in the world, he is rich, extremely good looking, with a stunning girlfriend and (of course) driving a sports car.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to stay grounded when you are that young and so successful and Zverev has definitely fallen in the trap.

The “apology” and the self-isolation

Zverev and his girlfriend Brenda Patea went to the Balkans to take part in the Adria Tour. Unfortunately, the event went sideways and it had to be halted after some players and members of the teams were found infected by the Coronavirus. Players were heavily criticized especially because they threw senseless parties and some videos of them dancing half-naked went viral.

After the Adria Tour was halted many players apologized for their actions. Sascha posted the following message

“I have just received the news that my team and I have tested negative for COVID-19. I deeply apologize to anyone that I have potentially put at risk by playing this tour. I will proceed to follow the self-isolating guidelines advised by our doctors. As an added precaution, my team and I will continue with regular testing. I wish everyone who has tested positive a speedy recovery. Stay safe”

… that wasn’t true

Unfortunately, Sascha fell again and on Sunday he was caught partying again with his girlfriend (this time not shirtless at least). Obviously, Sascha was badly slammed by social media after these videos went viral.

Sascha playing in Berlin

Sascha has signed to play the exhibition in Berlin where 1,000 fans are expected to attend the event. Tournament director and German Fed Cup skipper Barbara Rittner commented:

“When we host the tournament in mid-July, there will be a strict hygiene concept that we will co-ordinate with the Berlin Senate. We will have around 1000 spectators at the Steffi Graf stadium and around 300 in the hangar at Tempelhof.

It will be important to carefully observe all regulations and to test the players beforehand. This is one of the requirements.”
