Djokovic’s mother upset with the media on how they treat her son

Dijana is not happy about the criticism around Novak. She might help her son by avoiding fuelling negative vibes.

Djokovic Mother and father

Novak Djokovic has been trying hard to attract positive vibes in his life. Unfortunately, the Serbian legend has been often dragged down by his own parents in his noble effort. The father and the mother of the world no.1 are used to slamming publicly champions and role models such as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer to hit the headlines for the wrong reasons. Novak’s father Srdjan went to an all-new level after unfairly accusing Grigor Dimitrov of hurting Serbia, Croatia, and their family after being found infected by the Coronavirus during the infamous Adria Tour.

INCREDIBLE. Djokovic’s father says Dimitrov damaged the relations with Serbia, Croatia and their family

Unfortunately, Novak and his lovely wife Jelena were also found infected once they were back in Serbia following the halting of the Adria Tour. Djokovic was slammed by the media (social and “traditional”) for how the Adria Tour was managed as no social distancing was observed at all. The world no.1 had most probably the best intentions, but the constant and well-documented reckless behavior observed during the exhibition attracted well-deserved criticism.

Djokovic’s mother

Novak’s mother Dijana attracted more negative vibes in May when once again she slammed Roger Federer when talking to the media. Now Dijana expresses her unhappiness about how her son was treated by the media after the Adria Tour disaster.

“It is terrible and scary what they write, but we are used to it. It was as if they could hardly wait. They are obviously bothered by Novak,” she said.

Fortunately, she revealed that Novak and Jelena are fine.

“He is a young and healthy man, so it is easier to bear. After all, I think this virus is coming to an end, so these are just some of the “tails” of the crown that aren’t as strong as they were at the beginning. That is why they feel as good as we do,” she added.
