Naomi Osaka has been very active to defend the rights of the black community, especially after George Floyd’s killing. The Japanese sensation wrote a heartfelt letter to Reuters explaining why she has been so vocal supporting the “black lives matter” movement. However, some people slammed Naomi (wrongly) saying that she should stick to tennis. The former world no.1 refuses to do that and rightly so.
Tennis legend and WTA founder Billie Jean King remained absolutely impressed about Naomi saying: “That some people have said we as athletes should stick to sports is really insulting.”
Billie has been an activist going against inequality and being homosexual she has always been a staunch defender of the LGBT community.

Bravo to @naomiosaka.
As Desmond Tutu said, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”#BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/YHEorWrfRp
