Tsitsipas Berrettini

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Matteo Berrettini are the last 2 additions to the Ultimate Tennis Showdown that is a tennis event promoted by Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

While Berrettini’s joining the event came as a surprise as the Italian has been spending the Coronavirus lockdown in the US, Tsitsipas was widely expected to join the competition. In fact, Stefanos has been already residing for long at the Mouratoglou’s Academy where he is used to training.

Besides Tsitsipas and Berrettini, the competition will feature some other top players such as David Goffin, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alexei Popyrin, Dustin Brown, Lucas Pouille, Richard Gasquet, and Benoit Paire.

The event will consist of 50 matches playing in a round-robin format by 10 competitors. It will commence on the 13th of June and it will be played during the weekends.

“Looking forward to connecting with my fans virtually and taking part in this new experience. From June 13, live tennis returns. Like 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 before,” Stefanos posted.
