‘I am torn’ – Naomi Osaka upset with stars not supporting the Black Lives Matter movement

Naomi is not impressed with the lack of activism by some people

Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff are extremely active and vocal defending the rights of black people that are routinely abused in the US and often elsewhere in the world.

The Japanese sensation took the street protesting in LA and she has been a strong promoter of the so-called #blackouttuesday that consisted of posting only a black square on social media on Tuesday to support the black community.

However, Naomi is growing more and more frustrated with people (and fellow stars?) that are not joining the movement using their platforms.

“I’m torn between roasting people for only posting the black square this entire week…Or, accepting that they could’ve posted nothing at all so I should deal with this bare minimum bread crumb they have given,” she tweeted.

“If you haven’t spoken out at all during this last week ask yourself why If you feel uncomfortable using your platform to stand up for justice ask yourself why If you feel comfortable posting about the women’s march, the climate march, but not about justice for black lives ask yourself why,” she added with another post.

Tennis legend Chris Evert has recently expressed her love for Naomi because of her authenticity. Chris was also impressed with Coco Gauff’ s activism calling her a future leader.

That’s great to see!
