Serena shares her appreciation for the Frances speaking out and loud against racism

Serena Williams and Frances Tiafoe are both inspirations for the black community. Both managed to come out from a not-so-easy environment to reach stardom. While Serena was helped by his now-legendary father Richard to achieve greatness, Frances picked up the passion for tennis as his father was a janitor at a tennis center after he emigrated from Sierra Leone.

Frances, like some other players, expressed his adversity on social media. He put together an inspiring video with people of color working in the tennis industry, raising their hands in protest against (some) police violence against the black community.

Serena, James Blake, Gael Monfils, Naomi Osaka, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Coco Gauff are among the top personalities being part of the following video.

Serena thanked Frances for this.
