During the last few days, the US has been shocked by the terrible murder of George Floyd and the consequent protests.

Many tennis players of every race have expressed their disapproval for racists behaviors. Serena Williams, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and Felix Auger Aliassime has been particularly vocal. Nevertheless, the “online protest” went beyond black tennis players as their colleagues and friends such as Stefanos Tsitsipas, Amanda Anisimova, and other prominent tennis figures joined them.

Tsitsipas is among the most “illuminated” tennis players, and he posted a rather straight forward message on social media as follows:

“Human equality is my religion.”
