Novak Djokovic is not only the world no.1, but he is also one of the most generous players on the planet. The Serbian superstar has been extremely active in helping people and organisations to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. He pledged $1 million to Serbia to buy medical supplies and equipment to fight the outbreak. Later, Novak and his wife donated a “big sum” to a hospital in Italy

that was fighting hard against the Coronavirus.

Novak has been pushing for long also a fund to help lower-ranked players with the aim of collecting $6 million. Now Djokovic was reported to have donated $5.5 million to help public health systems and church charities.

Currently the world no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 29th of February when he overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the final in Dubai to win his 80th career title.

Presently, this year Djokovic has a 18-0 win-loss record. The Serbian clinched 2 titles in 2020 at the Australian Open and in Dubai.
