Naomi Osaka joins Cori Gauff in her disbelief in what has been happening in the US following the murder of George Floyd.

After the authorities didn’t react promptly to restrain the killers, the black community got so exasperate to have a rather violent reaction that ended up in violent protests and looking all over the US.

Coco Gauff has already posted many messages and videos about her show. Naomi Osaka retweeted the infamous video of the killing.

Naomi also posted couple of messages saying:

“Just because it isn’t happening to you doesn’t mean it isn’t happening at all.”

“I witnessed so much today/yesterday.”

Ranked world no.10, the Japanese played her last match on the 7th of February when she surrendered to Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-0 6-3 in the Rubber 1 of the Fed Cup.

Currently the world no.52, Gauff played her last match on the 26th

of January when she was defeated by Sofia Kenin 6-75 6-3 6-0 in the 4th round of the Australian Open.

Naomi Osaka and Cori Gauff played each other twice. The head to head is 1-1. The last time that they fought against each other, Cori Gauff won 6-3 6-4 in the 3rd round in Melbourne (Australian Open) on the 24th of January 2020.
