Like most of us, Cori Gauff remained deeply shocking when the horrific video of the George Floyd murder went viral on the internet. George was killed following a cowardly act from some policemen in Minneapolis to provoke outrage all over the world.
Coco already vented her anger on social media a few days ago, saying that she was literally in tears looking at the video. Now the American teenager sent another message on social media posting an image with the people that fell victim to racism.
In the post, Coco stresses the fact that society needs to finally care about black lives.
“When will it stop? When will we been seen as human and not a threat? Rest in Peace to all of the beautiful souls whose lives were ended short due to racism. All lives will not matter until society proves they actually care about black lives.”
