Cori Gauff and Naomi Osaka’s boyfriend YBN Cordae share their shock and disbelief for the brutal and senseless murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police in Minneapolis.
George was arrested and brutally put on the ground with a cop that was kneeling on his neck. While Mr. Floyd was repeatedly saying that he couldn’t breathe and he was scared for his life, the cop kept on standing on his neck until it was too late. An ambulance took him to the hospital, where he died that evening. The policemen involved in this horrible episode were fired, but a life was lost.
Coco posted her regret on Social Media against this senseless discrimination.
“I am in tears watching this video… everyday innocent people are dying because of our skin color. No one deserves to die like that. I just can’t believe this. This needs to stop. #GeorgeFloyd,” she posted.
