Great news for tennis! Rafa has been scheduled to play in Sao Paulo next month.
The King of Clay will strengthen his South America campaign. He has already been scheduled to play in Acapulco the 25th of Febraury, but it seems he is so eager to play that he will anticipate his return to the 11th.
This will be a good come back for Rafa in the South American region since 2005.
Apparently also the organisation of the Vina del Mar tournament (Chile) is trying to lure Rafa (1.2 million dollars?), but it is difficult he will play 3 tournaments in Febraury (it would not be a wise comeback).
Brasil Open
The Brasil Open is a 250 ATP tournament that is played on indoor clay courts. It will be played from the 11th to the 17th of Febraury. It’s a tournament usually played by clay court specialists from Spain and South America.
Last year the winner was Almagro that defeated Filippo Volandri 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. That was Almagro’s 3rd title.
This year… well we really expect Rafa to win this.
