Roger Federer is currently training in Switzerland where he is monitoring the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Swiss sensation has been helping already the families struggling from a financial point of view in his home country and he has also agreed to join his friend Guga Kuerten in helping 33,000 families in Brazil in the Vencendo Juntos campaign.
Roger will be in good company as also Novak Djokovic agreed to join the cause. During a lovely call with Guga, Roger expressed how important it is now for the world to stay united and to find the solution together.Also, the 38-year-old stressed the fact that is difficult to understand the real situation because of the mixed information
“I think the most interesting thing about this moment is that we are doing things together,” Roger said. “Usually, you have a problem that is in a country or even on a continent, in certain places. But now the whole world is involved in this pandemic and virus problem.
“I think that regardless of whether you are from Brazil or Switzerland, we will share similar problems. I hope that people in Brazil will be affected as little as possible with the virus. And also that everyone can, together, find a way to go through this because it is not easy,” Federer added.

Currently ranked no.4, the Swiss played his last match on the 30th of January when he capitulated to Novak Djokovic 7-61 6-4 6-3 in the semifinal of the Australian Open.
