Cori Gauff has always maintained that Serena and Venus Williams are her childhood heroes. Given her strong character, ethnicity, and the huge success she already had at a very early age, it is very easy for her to be compared to the legendary sisters even if she has already a 2-0 win-loss record against Venus.

During a recent podcast with behind the racket, Coco explained he she is not very happy about being compared with Serena and Venus saying that she is simply not at their level.

She commented: “At the same time, I do not like to compare with Serena or Venus. First, I’m still not to his level. I always feel that is not fair to the Williams sisters to be compared to someone who has just come. “Just not feeling well still, I still see them as my idols.

With all his accolades, still should not be in the same group. Of course, I hope to get to where they are, but they are the two women who marked the way for me, that’s why I can never be them.”
