Nick Kyrgios and Rafael Nadal have a rather tricky relationship. Everything started when the Australian shocked Rafa 6 years ago in Wimbledon playing outstanding tennis. Later Nick has often criticized the Spaniard for his behavior calling him a bad loser. He also admitted that the Mallorcan is his polar opposite.

The relationship between them became rather tense especially after Kyrgios beat him in Acapulco last when the Australian saved 3 consecutive match points. Kyrgios was in full “Kyrgios mode” with all his antics in full display. The Spaniard didn’t appreciate that to give one of the coldest handshakes in his career after the match. In the following press conference, Rafa called him “disrespectful.”

What about an Instagram call?

During his period when tennis players are extremely prolific on Social Media. After the BBC asked for hints about the most interesting facetime, Kyrgios expressed his desire to have one with Rafa to say: “Rafa lets do Instagram live together. I am down with it. Rafael Nadal let’s do it.”

Not sure Rafa will accept, but that would be great.
