Stefanos Tsitsipas is among the top stars that accepted to compete in the Mutua Madrid Open Virtual Pro. The tournament had the brilliant idea to organize a virtual competition with the players properly dressed dreaming about competing in the real thing.
32 players are taking part in the tournament (16 from the ATP and 16 from the WTA). The first stage is about 4 groups (round-robin). The top 2 players of each group will qualify for the quarters.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is in the same group of Kei Nishikori, Fabio Fognini and France Tiafoe. Stefanos was just too good for Nishikori and Fognini to beat both of them 3-0.
The greek commented: “I feel like Rafa playing on clay.”
