Halep, Muguruza agree with Federer’s proposal of merging the tours

Roger Federer hit the headlines big times on Wednesday when he advocated the merger of the ATP and the WTA tours. The Swiss sensation collected an amazing amount of likes and retweets on his idea and comments were overall positive.

After Roger tweeted if he was the only one to think that the ATP and the WTA should merge, Simona Halep replied: “You are not the only one :-)”

Garbine Muguruza replied: “Yes, would be a good idea.”

Andy Roddick and Lindsay Davenport also agreed with Roger with Andy stressing a bit the fact that the implementation should be a bit complicated.
