Why it’s illogical that tennis players cannot train. RAFAEL NADAL

Nadal

Rafael Nadal is among the tennis players that are growing more and more frustrated about not being able to train. The Spanish sensation resides in the wonderful Porto Cristo a few kilometers from his Rafael Nadal Academy. However, he misses something really important in his residence: a tennis court!

When talking with Roger Federer over Instagram, the world no.2 revealed that he hasn’t played since the cancellation of Indian Wells (that was more than 1 month ago). The Swiss sensation sounded “happy” about that!

Why Nadal is not happy for not being able to train

During one of his session on Instagram live, Nadal commented:

“It’s true I don’t understand very well because we cannot play tennis when many people are going to work and even more so in our sport, where we keep at a large and safe distance and we play on opposite sides of the court.

But I understand that we are in a very critical situation, that the government is dealing with something unprecedented and I also understand that the last thing they think of is who can train and who cannot train. I understand the situation and obviously there are many things that are not logical but you have to accept the rules.”

Nevertheless, Rafa’s Academy announced the intention of attracting pro-players to possibly host and televise their training and some competitions.
