Good news from the Laver Cup as the organization had the sensible idea of postponing the 2020 edition to 2021. The competition was originally scheduled to take place in Boston the 25-27 of September. However, the Coronavirus pandemic disrupted all schedules and the French Open made the aggressive move of unilaterally deciding that its event would take place form the 20th of September to the 4th of October.
The decision and the behavior of the Roland Garros was heavily criticized and considered as arrogant as it disrupted 9 other tournaments with the Laver Cup included. Eventually, it was decided to postpone the Laver Cup of 1 year and the good news for the American fans is that Boston will still be the place. The Laver Cup takes place every year, and the idea is to alternate the event in Europe and in the Rest of the World every year. Therefore, it was nice to see that Boston was still the chosen city in 2021.

The decision was applauded
The decision was widely considered as a good one from the journalists and the fans as there was no point to wage a pointless war with the Roland Garros that it may very well happen with the progressive improvement of the Coronavirus outbreak.
