Roger Federer launched the wall challenge while in self-isolation because of the Coronavirus. That means that tennis players and fans all over the world are requested to imitate Roger’s skills while closely volleying against the wall.
Roger’s challenge had a great following. American tennis legend, Andy Roddick, accepted the challenge saying: “I’d do the backboard challenge, but as you know as well as anyone, I don’t like to volley :)”

The Swiss Legend was most probably making fun of Andy as he famously missed a critical and rather elementary volley in the Wimbledon final back in 2009 against Roger when he had a set point and he was already 1 set up. Here the video.
