The tennis world remained devastated and in shock after it was made official the cancellation of Wimbledon in 2020 because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was so eager to play the Championships that we had already a training session at the prestigious Queen’s Club soon after he came back from the US. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and the young Greek will have to wait for another year before setting his feet on grass at least for an official competition.

The world no.6 commented: “I went to bed thinking this was all a bad April fools joke but I woke up today to find the Wimbledon is actually canceled, I will miss this special event and I can’t wait to 2021, stay home, stay sane!”
