In the meantime, the Greek sensation has always expressed his love for his country. He is always eager to play all sorts of team competitions for Greece such as Davis Cup, ATP Cup and he now-defunct Laver Cup.

In occasion of Greece’s independence day, Stefanos released the following message (translated):

“Representing the love of my country. Part of me and the legacy I have to pass on to future generations. Being a sports ambassador of my country. The flag that gives me motivation, impetus and reason to want to prove my values ​​as a Greek. I could not be more proud to be a part of this incredible culture, a culture that gives and is valued worldwide.”
