CORONAVIRUS. The ATP closes for 6 weeks. Monte-Carlo will not be played

ATP cancelled for 6 weeks

Another hour (or another minute) and another evolution related to the Coronavirus and our beloved sport. After so many rumors going around, the ATP announced officially that its tour is suspended. This means that top events like Miami (this was already announced by the local county) and Monte-Carlo will not be played.

Novak Djokovic maintained Monte-Carlo in his schedule to avoid anticipating the official statement from the ATP.

The tour will not be played up to the week of the 27th of April. This means that also the ATP500 in Barcelona will be canceled alongside the ATP250 in Houston, Marrakech, and Budapest.

If the tour is back on the 27th of April, the first 2 tournaments are the ATP250 in Estoril and Munich.

Here the previous official schedule for March.
