There is a lot of confusion in tennis and around the world right now because of the Coronavirus. Indian Wells was canceled 1 day before it was meant to start and there are doubts about the opportunity to play the Miami Open. The players are disoriented and while some decide to stay in the desert to have peaceful training, some others like Rafael Nadal decided to go back in his country.

According to reports, Rafa is now in Mallorca and there are doubts (ESPN) about his participation in the Miami Open one of the few tournaments that he has never won despite reaching 5 finals (2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2017). This would be quite bad news for the organization that has already “lost” Federer after his knee operation.

According to the recent rumors the Miami Open will be played behind closed doors, but nothing is certain right now.
