Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Denis Shapovalov are going to be among the top players that will compete in Barcelona this year. The tournament will take place on the 20th of April and the home favorite, Rafael Nadal will try to conquer the title for the 12th time. Rafa will have fierce opposition, but probably one of his strongest “enemies” in Barcelona will be the threat of the Coronavirus. The ATP1000 in Indian Wells was canceled and also the organization of the ATP500 in Barcelona had to cancel the official presentation because of the outbreak of the virus. The defending champion is Dominic Thiem that won the tournament without dropping a single set on the way.
