Serena Williams, Coco Gauff's coach Mouratoglou launches a unique resort based on sport and concerts

Patrick Mouratoglou is one of the most famous coaches in tennis with his most successful client being Serena Williams. The French coach has guided Serena to numerous Grand Slam titles as well as multiple number one rankings. His tennis academy attracts many young players who hope to emulate Serena’s success. Patrick is also a successful businessman. Last weekend, he launched the Mouratoglou resort, a facility that will offer unique experiences through sports and concert events.

The resort is located in the French Riviera

Mouratoglou announced the news of the new resort on his Twitter account. “I am proud to announce the birth of the Mouratoglou Resort, a unique resort based in the FrenchRiviera and which proposes a concept based on sports and concerts.” The one of a kind facility will have 155 rooms, 11 seminar rooms, 2 restaurants, and a spa for its guests. Alex Hepburn entertained the guests who attended the launch of the exclusive resort.

Mouratoglou’s success with Gauff and Serena

The resort will only cement Mouratoglou’s reputation as one of the best business minds in the game. His tennis academy has continued to attract many players, and he prides himself on his role in helping young players establish themselves in the game. Coco Gauff is an example of a player who has benefited from his guidance. The 15-year-old has blossomed into a household name since she started working with Mouratoglou. She rose to prominence at last year’s Wimbledon tournament, where she reached the fourth round despite being a wild card. She then went on to win her first WTA title at the Linz Open in Austria. This season, she reached the fourth round of the Australian Open. Her best result at the tournament was her victory over Naomi Osaka. Under Mouratoglou’s guidance, Gauff could go on to imitate Serena’s success.

Serena has won several Grand Slam titles since she started working with the coach in 2012. The two are now aiming to match Margret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam titles. Since making her comeback after giving birth to her daughter Olympia, Serena has gone close to matching the record on three occasions. She has reached the finals of the US Open twice, in 2018 and 2019 as well as the Wimbledon final last year. However, she has been unsuccessful on all three occasions. This year, she suffered a surprise loss at the Australian Open, losing to Wang Qin in the third round. However, Mouratoglou has expressed optimism that she will eventually break through and win her 24thmajor title.
