Thiago Seyboth Wild upsets Casper Ruud 7-5 4-6 6-3 in the final in Santiago on Sunday. Ranked no.182, Thiago accessed the main draw thanks to a wildcard.

Ruud got off on the right foot in the set after breaking Seyboth Wild in the 1st game (1-0). Yet, Seyboth Wild succeeded in coming back to break Ruud 3 times in the 2nd (1-1), in the 6th (3-3) gamein the 12th game before winning the set (7-5) after breaking his opponent in the last game.
