Djokjovic defeats Seppi to overcome an injury scare

Nole is just everywhere. He has just won the Mubadala World Tennis Chapionship in Abu Dhabi to win his opener in Perth after a couple of days, but there was a bit of a drama.

The match and the scare

After defeating Seppi 6-3 6-4 Nole went to mix up with fans to give his autographs when a corporate box gave way going on Nole’s legs. The world no.1 went back to the locker room for treatment and luckily he had the green light from doctors to play the mixed double with Ana.

“It was a bit of a shock and I am glad that the children involved are OK. I am fine,” Djokovic said

From a very tired Nole

Novak was really struggling to comment “I arrived quite late last night and didn’t get a lot of sleep,” Djokovic said “I felt like I was dream walking this morning. But as the match went on, I was managing to get my rhythm.”

Just before that Ana defeated Schiavone 6-4 6-0. Then the Serb lost the mixed doubles 7-6 (4) 6-4 to win the rubber 2-1
