Mikael Ymer posts lovely message about Tsitsipas after losing in Marseille

Ymer Tsitsipas

Mikael Ymer is slowly but surely climbing up in the rankings. The 21-year-old from Sweden is finding his best tennis and he has great chances of breaking in the top50 at any point this year.

The Swede had a rather tough loss in the second round in Marseille at the hands of his good friend Stefanos Tsitsipas that conceded him on 4 games. However, after losing to the Greek, Ymer posted a rather nice message on Instagram that explains why he is so grateful to Stefanos. This was his message:

“I messaged Stefanos about a year ago asking him for some help and thoughts on my tennis. Not many people have taken the time to help me like he did. For someone to have the amount of success that he’s had and stay the same kind hearted person he’s always been is very deep. Genuinely very happy for all of your success and thank you for leading the way”
