Daniela is definitely one of the most talented and beautiful tennis players on tour.
The 23rd of April she will turn 30 years-old, but she is not very scared about that also because she looks as beautiful as ever. Last year she (very successfully) posed nude for ESPN’s Body Issue and she is still one of the most appreciated personalities in the WTA circuit.
About aging
She doesn’t sound really upset to comment
“I have so many friends that turned 30 this year and they seem to enjoy it. It’s just a number,” said Hantuchova “When I get there I’ll see how I feel but I can’t believe it. It wasn’t so long ago I thought 30 was old.”
She is definitely right in saying that. At 34 Tommy Haas is playing one of his best tennis. At 31 Federer is still at the very top of the rankings. At 30 Ferrer had his best season. Serena Williams is also 30 and her tennis is as smashing as ever.
Another incredible example in women’s tennis is Japan’s Kimiko Date-Krumm thaat 43 years-old is still enjoying a lot professional tennis (she is currently ranked as world no.99)
“I’m pleased there are so many around because it gives me great motivation,” Hantuchova said. “These days it’s not so easy for the younger ones to break through because the overall standard is much higher.”
