For a European Christmas is about a very peculiar experience often linked to cozy cold weather and a lot of snow. Ana Ivanovic is not an exception, but she has to keep in mind something very important that is about to happen in less than one month: the Australian Open.
So the Serbian Beauty had to choose between a snowy Christmas or getting to Dubai for a tennis full immersion to prepare the new year. Off course she went for the second option to try to climb the WTA rankings and get back in the top 10.

So Ana commented on her facebook page “I was quite close to spending the holiday season in Europe, for the first time in a long time. That would have been fun, enjoying the snow.
But it made sense to go from Dubai, where I was training, to Perth, instead of back to Europe for a few days. I think it’s going to be quite a few years before I experience a traditional holiday season again!
She won’t be the only tennis pro to prepare the season in Dubai as other colleagues such as Federer always choose the Emirates for Christmas time.
