Daria Kasatkina powers past Natalia Vikhlyantseva 6-3 6-2 in the qualifications in Dubai on Saturday after playing a solid match to come up against Kristina Mladenovic in the qualifications.

Darya won the set after she broke Natalia in the 6^th (4-2) and in the 8^th (5-3) game. Vikhlyantseva tried to stage a comeback breaking in the 7^th (4-3) game. However, Kasatkina refused to give way before winning the set 6-3.

2^nd set.

Darya in this set stepped up in great fashion to overplay Natalia and without too much hustling she won 6-2 after breaking Vikhlyantseva in the 3^rd (2-1) and in the 5^th (4-1) game.
