Great news for the tennis fans in Monte Carlo as Novak Djokovic decided to compete in the “home” tournament. The Serbian sensation resides in the Principality and he was confirmed to play on clay only in Madrid and Rome ahead of the upcoming Roland Garros. However, the world no.1 has just included in his schedules Monte Carlo. The tournament will take place from April 13-17. Nole won the tournament in 2013 and 2015; he was the runner-up in 2009 and 2012.

Now ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 2nd of February when he beat Dominic Thiem 6-4 4-6 2-6 6-3 6-4 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 79th career title.
