Dominic Thiem and Kiki Mladenovic used to be the “golden couple” of tennis. The Austrian and the Frenchwoman used to date for long until they split by the end of last year. Unfortunately, the world no.5 had to admit that the heavy schedules typical of their sport made things difficult for their relationship.
Even if they didn’t make it public the fact that they were not an item anymore, that became obvious when Mladenovic didn’t show up in London when Dominic played the final at the season’s finale against Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Dominic and Kiki will cross paths in Melbourne as they will play back to back at the Rod Laver Arena. In fact, Mladenovic is scheduled to play the women’s final with Timea Babos at (not before) 4 pm while Dominic will face Sascha Zverev soon after (not before 7.30 pm).

Dominic Thiem will come up against Zverev in the semifinal. The head to head is 6-2 for Thiem.
