Davis Cup Final: France is leading 2-1 over Serbia

The 2007 Wimbledon Double Champions, Michael LLodra and Arnaud Clement, used all their experience to get back in an almost comprised match.

After losing the first two sets 4-6 6-7, they did not look to be the favorites at all. Then the French duo proved to be too hard to beat.
In particular, Troiki had a erratic match. At the beginning, he appeared self-confident and 100% in control in the first part of the match. Then he crumbled and proved to be an easy target for the French.
Strange enough it was the world nr. 3 double specialist Nestor  Zimonjic to lose his serve in the 5th sets. The Serbs had also 2 opportunities to counter break on the 4-3, but these were badly wasted.
The final score was 4-6 6-7 (3) 6-4 7-5 6-4.
In the next match  Novak Djokovic will take on  Gael Monfils.
The last match is a big question mark in terms who is going to play. From the Serb side it looks that Tipsarevic will be the first choice. On the other side, Guy Forget, the French Captain, may decide to go for Llodra.
France is in a very good position to win the 2010 Davis Cup, but you can’t write off Serbia… at all.
