Sascha Zverev is having a fantastic and unexpected run at the Australian Open after reaching the semifinal of a slam for the first time of his young career. The German sensation didn’t have any expectation in Melbourne especially after he started the season in a rather disastrous fashion following 3 consecutive losses at the ATP Cup.
Eventually, the German found his best tennis to drop also only 1 set for the entire duration of the tournament.
After the match, Sascha credited his father (and coach) for his effort, and later he posted a nice picture on Instagram with his dad and coaching team during the ritual ice bath.
