The world is in shock after the news that basketball legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash with his daughter and 7 other people.
At 41 years of age, Kobe was a legend that went beyond his sport and he was loved all over the world. Just a few days ago, Djokovic revealed that Kobe used to be his mentor and he helped him a lot during the tough moments with long conversations over the phone.
After he heard the tragic news, the Serbian sensation tweeted: “My heart truly mourns over the news today. Kobe was a great mentor and friend to me. You and your daughter will live forever in our hearts. There are not enough words to express my deepest sympathies to the Bryants and every family suffering from this tragedy. RIP my friend.”
