Nick Kyrgios and Amanda Anisimova enjoy a fantastic friendship on and off the court. The Australian and the American were rumored to be an item, but apparently that was just speculation. Nick was always close to Amanda especially after the American teenager tragically lost her beloved father just before last year’s US Open.
Anisimova crashed out in the very first round at the Australian Open before deciding to play mixed doubles with Kyrgios. The couple looked pretty sharp in their first match to beat David Vega Hernandez and Monique Adamczak 7-5, 6-4 in 1 and 13 minutes in front of a big crowd.
Kyrgios & Anisimova are through to the second round of the Australian Open mixed doubles with a 7-5, 6-4!
