MELBOURNE RESULTS. Spirited Marin Cilic outlasts Paire in the 2nd round

Marin Cilic outlasts Benoit Paire 6-2 6-7⁶ 3-6 6-1 7-6³ in the 2^nd round in Melbourne on Wednesday after winning a huge battle. Cilic will engage against Roberto Bautista Agut in the 3^rd round.

1^st set.

Cilic in this set played a much better tennis than Benoit and without struggling too much he won 6-2. Paire broke Cilic in the 3^rd (2-1) game. However, Cilic broke his opponent in the 3 times in the 4^th (2-2), in the 6^th (2-4) and in the 8^th (2-6) game, but that didn’t prevent his to win the set (6-2).
