An ATP tournament in Singapore? Tipsarevic, Monaco say it would be good

Singapore is doing everything to have an ever bigger place on the world map. The city has been hosting for several years an exciting F1 grand prix and it may have the opportunity to host an ATP event.

Last week end there was an interesting indoor exhibition, the Clash of Continents, with some top player such as Nishikori, Querrey, Monaco and Tipsarevic.

The organisation was excellent and the crowd was very happy and passionate during the event to give a good impression to both Tipsarevic and Monaco.

About having a proper ATP Events

Tipsarevic commented, “It was good and was entertaining for the crowd. I was positively surprised on how well this crowd is behaving, how well they understand this sport and we hope that you guys will have a ATP here one day. We are here playing for ourselves obviously but mainly playing for the crowd. Most of us came directly from holiday, but nevertheless the level of tennis was high.”

Juan  Monaco commented, “The tournament has been well organized and as you can see there are many people who want to watch tennis here. So if an ATP event is held here even more people will turn up.”
