Federer, Nadal make a big donation for the bushfire relief. VIDEO

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal joined other top tennis players in a hugely successful event in Melbourne to raise funds and help the people affected by the Australian bushfires. During the event, Rafa announced that both he and Roger decided to donate together $250,000 to the cause.

Federer and Nadal joined a big number of other tennis players that decided to help in different ways. Everything started with Nick Kyrgios that chose to donate $200 per ace (and he is no stingy in this department). Then it was time for the other players to join the Australian following the same example. Ashleigh Barty also decided to pledge all her prize money won in Brisbane (singles and doubles). Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic donated $25.000 each, while Serena Williams pledged the entire prize money that she won in Auckland. Belinda Bencic and Market Vondrousova got creative to donate $200 per double fault.
