Osaka in Brisbane, ranking, and results in 2020
At the moment no.4, Naomi overtook Simona Halep as the new world no.3 in the live rankings. Osaka has a 3-0 win-loss record in 2020. The Japanese is now playing in Brisbane where she beat Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-74 6-3, Sofia Kenin 6-73 6-3 6-1 and Kiki Bertens 6-3 3-6 6-3.
The last time that they fought against each other, Osaka won 6-2 4-6 6-4 in the semifinal in Melbourne (Australian Open) in January 2019.

At the moment ranked no.25, she is no.22 in the live rankings. The American has a 3-0 win-loss record in 2020. Amanda is now playing in Auckland where she bested Kateryna Kozlova 6-3 6-4, Daria Kasatkina 6-2 6-4 and Eugenie Bouchard 6-2 3-6 6-4.
Amanda Anisimova will come up against Williams in the semifinal. They have never played each so far on the main tour. Amanda will match her world no.21 career-high if she wins Auckland.
Rybakina in Shenzhen, ranking, and results in 2020
Currently the world no.36 (career-high), Rybakina has a 4-0 win-loss record in 2020. Rybakina is in Shenzhen where she toppled Saisai Zheng 6-2 1-6 6-2, Yafan Wang 6-3 6-4, Elise Mertens 6-4 4-6 6-2 and Kristyna Pliskova 6-2 7-5.
Elena Rybakina will face Alexandrova in the final. They have never played each so far on the main tour. Rykaina’s current live ranking is 29 and she may ended up ranked no.26 is she wins the final.
Eugenie Bouchard’s ranking and performance in 2020
Now the world no.262, Eugenie played her last match on the 10th of January when she lost to Amanda Anisimova 6-2 3-6 6-4 in the quarter in Auckland.
Elena Rybakina and Eugenie Bouchard have never played each other. Genie’s live ranking is now 211 as she went up 51 places after reaching the quarters in Auckland.
