The Serb has been once again a key figure in tennis also in 2012.
World no.1
Nole has been granted for the second consecutive year the trophy for being world no.1
“It is an incredibly satisfying feeling to win the ATP World Tour No. 1 trophy for a second time. I hope to be able to fight for this title next year,” Djokovic said
Nole has achieved this feat by winning the Australian Open (with an epic final) , 3 1000 ATP Masters (Miami, Toronto and Shanghai), the 500 ATP in Beijing and reaching the finals at the Roland Garros, US Open, Montecarlo, Rome and Cincinnati.
Humanitarian efforts
As we know Nole has been very active in promoting humanitarian initiatives with his foundation and the UNICEF. For this reason the world no.1 received also the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year award.
