Dimitrov in this set played a much better tennis than the Moldovan and without much struggle he won 6-2 after breaking Radu in the 4th (3-1) and in the 8th (6-2) game.

Dimitrov conquered a good lead at the beginning of the set after breaking Albot in the 2nd game (2-0). Nonetheless, that was not enough for the Bulgarian to win the set because Radu found the way to break back in the 3rd (1-2) game.
