Team Canada confirms to be one of the strongest teams in the world with the presence of Denis Shapovalov and Auger Aliassime. The North American youngsters had a rather easy ride against Team Greece lead by Stefanos Tsitsipas to win 3-0.

This was probably the match of the day of the ATP Cup. Stefanos is well-known for struggling with the young Canadian. The Greek used to have a 1-2 H2H record against Denis before this match and a 0-2 against the Canadian at junior level. Eventually, the encounter was rather even and the only difference was just that Tsitsipas was extremely passive in the tiebreaks that decided the encounter. The final result was 7-6 (6) 7-6 (4).

Auger-Aliassime vs. Pervolarakis

This match was much more straightforward as the Canadian was widely expected to make a meal of the Greek, In fact, Felix dropped just 4 games to win the encounter 6-1 6-3.

Team Canada will now clash against Team Australia in what will probably be the tie that will decide the leadership of the group. Team Greece will face off against Germany.
