Serena Williams finally gets to New Zealand where she will kick start the new season. The American legend decided to compete in a warm-up event before the Australian Open so as no to arrive at the major too rusty.

Even if this is considered a minor event, there is a rather strong line-up. Unfortunately, the local fans missed the opportunity to see Bianca Andreescu again in action as the Canadian had to pull out for a knee injury. However, the local fans will have the chance to see the soon-to-retire Caroline Wozniacki with 2 of the most intriguing upcoming players: Amanda Anisimova and Coco Gauff.

Serena will also have the pleasure to play doubles with her dear friend Caroline in Auckland before she calls it a career.

In this video, the images of Serena arriving in Auckland.
