Stefanos Tsitsipas is about to start his run at the Mubadala World Tennis Championships, and he is already thinking about what he needs to do against Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic so as to reach his goals in 2020.

The 4 targets of Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2020

During a recent interview Abu Dhabi, Stefanos was rather specific to explain his 4 targets in the following season. He revealed: “One of my goals for next year would be a Grand Slam title, finishing in the top three by the end of the year, making the Nitto Finals again and winning a Masters 1000.”

Last year Stefanos reached 3 of the 4 targets that he fixed. Last December, he declared that he wanted to reach a semifinal at a slam (he did it already in January at the Australian Open), break in the top10, qualify for the ATP Finals and win a Master ATP1000. He missed only the last target, but he went completely beyond his predictions when he conquered the ATP Finals.

Talking about what is required from Stefanos to achieve his dreams in 2020, the Greek commented “We have Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, who are there, and have always been there. And what I need to do is go the extra mile and surpass them and that’s going to be the biggest challenge for next year, I need to surpass one of them in order for me to finish in the top-three next year.”
