Even if Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils are dating for only 1 year they are already virtually inseparable. They try to together as much as they can even if the schedules of a pro tennis player are extremely complicated. Elina and Gael are currently in the Middle East where the Frenchman will play 2 events in Riyadh (the new Diriyah Tennis Cup) and in Abu Dhabi (the consolidated Mubadala World Tennis Championship).
The Frenchman was in full form in his opener in Saudi Arabia where he defeated his great friend Stan Wawrinka 6-3 6-3, putting up a real show for the delight of the local crowd. Elina is also getting ready for a great 2020 to possibly conquer her maiden slam. The Ukrainian has just added tennis legend Marcos Baghdatis his coaching team to try to get to the next level.

Ranked no.10, Gael played his last match on the 1st of November when he had to bow to Denis Shapovalov 6-2 6-2 in the quarter in Paris.
